quick question just watched sheikh bilal video the world of the jinn. he advises near the end of the video that blowing into water oil etc is not from the sunnah and gives the impression this does not work please advise if he is wrong or are you wrong please supply evidence thanks

Yes of course! During Menses, it is not unlawful to celebrate Allah’s Praises (Saying Takbeer, Tasbeeh, and Tahmeed), saying Bismillah before acting upon something (eating, drinking, etc..), reading Hadeeth, Islamic discussions, invocation upon Allah (Dua’), and listening to the recitation of Qur’an.
It has been confirmed by ‘Aisha (radhi Allaahu anha) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) used to: “lean on my lap and recite Qur’an while I was in menses” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Recitation of quran by tongue during menses is not haram, however some scholars contest, so in this case do not recite unless its necessary, such as in your case (if its urgent then she can recite)
