      How do you know that he doesn’t know they’re made of animals?

      At 9 years old, he has goals that aren’t materialistic and confidence through the roof. I’m pretty sure he’s intelligent enough to ask or know where beef comes from. Kids are actually really smart!

    1. @aqua doods they just trying to be nice.. You can see Heidi didn’t stood up to give a standing ovation. And i don’t think Simon and Sofia did or else the editor won’t cut that part away and create controversy and criticisms if they judges all had stood up and clap.. When 2 or more judges don’t stand usually means that the act is not great.

    2. Both these tricks where obvious. During the card bit you could see he had a pinky break (the cards were lifted up slightly). He showed the first card then using the break handed Howie the second card. Judges are so easily fooled.

  29. I saw all his moves. Its not that impressive, it just because its a 9 year old doing it. other than that eeeeehhh

    1. For a child, he is impressive.. he is already so good at 9 so can you imagine how good he will be when he gets older?

    3. Yes but he will definitely get better. Everyone starts somewhere but he is definitely on the road to success

    3. It’s called the Double Lift technique. For example, from top of the deck, the first card is Queen of Spades and the second card is Queen of Hearts. But when he lifts the top card for Howei, he lifts two cards instead of one. So the card that we get to see is Queen of Hearts. Then he turns them both again. So now Queen of Spades is once again the top card. Then he hands over the top card to Howei (which is actually Queen of Spades but everyone thinks it is Queen of Hearts). Now in this deck, he has another Queen of Spades in the 3rd place from top. So for Heidi, he uses the same technique and so this way now he gets hold of Queen of Hearts.
      Double Lifting of cards need a lot of practise to make the transitions smooth so that no one call tell that you are lifting two instead of one card. Alot of magicians use this technique as a part of a bigger trick to change cards but it is never done as the sole trick because it becomes obvious. You can see from the video that he was having some problems to lift two cards at once and was taking some time.

    2. Howie is known to have mysophobia. Extreme or irrational fear of dirt or contamination. He never touches anybody’s hands unless wearing gloves.
