How to perform Ruqya by Shaykh Abdul Rauf Ben Halima

[shop-page-wp category=’halal superfoods’ grid=’4′ max_number=’8′]

Assalamualikum, In the name of Allah, most Gracious most Merciful. This is the Authentic Ruqya, which is the Islamic method of removing the evils from the Jinn, envy, evil eye and related topics. Allah (swt) Says in Quran And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. Suran Al-Isra:82 Ruqyah (plural: ruqa) derives from the past-tense verb raqa. It consists of words said or written in the form of dud or Dhikr for the purpose of protection or cure. It is sometimes accompanied with other actions, such as blowing or wiping over the thing to which it is applied. A synonym for ruqyah in Arabic is “ta’with” and “ta’withah”, from which derives the description “al-Mu’awwidhat” (the protecting ones) for the last three suras of the Qur’an, and “al-Mu’awwidhatan” (the two protecting ones) for the last two suras only (cited below). People from most cultures and religions use various forms of ruqa. They are usually referred to in English as spells, charms, incantations, and so on. Most of those ruqa contain magic, shirk, senseless words, lies, etc. Because of this, the Prophet (Peace and Blessing upon Him) prohibited using ruqa at first. Ibn Masud (RA) reported that the Prophet (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said: ‘Indeed, ruqa, amulets, and tiwala*, are all acts of shirk.’ Recorded by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and others. Verified to be authentic by al-Albani in as-Sahihah no. 331. (*Tiwala: Beads or other objects, usually worn around the neck, believed by some people to have the power of making a husband love his wife.) Later on, he (Peace and Blessing upon Him) allowed people to use only the ruqa that he approved, or that did not contain shirk. Jabir Bin ‘Abdillah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (Peace and Blessing upon Him) prohibited ruqa. Then, some people from the tribe of ‘Umr Bin Hazam came to him and said, “We have a ruqyah that we used to use for scorpion and snake stings; but you have now prohibited using ruqa.” And they showed it to him. He (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said: ‘I do not see anything wrong in it. Anyone among you who can benefit his brother should do so.’ Muslim

    1. Muslims pray to the god of Moses and Abraham and the other prophets mentioned in the gospels of Christ get your facts correct

  11. assalaamualaikum the fitna of fame and money had reached its pinnacle in this deen, I have no doubt at this level your vanity have been on great trial but it seems you have ignored the pure essence of Islamic tradition that a money base rukya can’t actually be reliable as it corrupts the core of sincerity you failed brother Abu Halima as you have consider money prior to relief of a mu’min I’m so disappointed with you.

    1. +Yusuf Limalia so if you have not that much of a knowledge, do not make comment until you have the proof of what you are saying.

    2. +Yusuf Limalia As far as giving something to the Raqi (a person who performs Ruqya) is concerned there is a hadith that proves in a subtle way that this practice is not forbidden in Islam. A group of the Companions of the Prophetصلى الله عليه و سلم). (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a journey and traveled until they came near one of the Arab tribes. They asked them for hospitality but they were refused. Then the leader of that tribe was stung, and his people tried everything to cure him but nothing helped. Then some of them said, “Why don’t you go to those people who are staying (nearby)? Maybe one of them has something.” So they went to them and said, “O people, our leader has been stung and we have tried everything and nothing helped him. Do you have anything?” One of them said, “Yes, by Allah. I will perform ruqya for him, but by Allah we asked you for hospitality and you did not give us anything, so we will not perform ruqya for you unless you give us something in return.” So they agreed on a flock of sheep, then he started to blow on him and recite Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabb il-`Alameen. Then he recovered quickly from his complaint and started walking, and he was completely cured. After that they took the flock of sheep, and some of the companions of the Prophetصلى الله عليه و سلم). (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Let us share it out.” The one who had performed ruqya said, “Do not do anything until we come to the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم). (peace and blessings be upon him) and tell him what happened, and we will wait and see what he tells us to do.” So they came to the Messenger of Allahصلى الله عليه و سلم). (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him what had happened. He said, “How did you know that it is a ruqya?” Then he said, “You did the right thing. Share them out, and give me a share.” And the Messenger of Allahصلى الله عليه و سلم). (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
From this Hadith we get to know that it is permissible to give something in return to the person who performs it. We also learn from it that Surah Al-Fatiha can be used for curing evil eye and other such diseases

  12. Salam brother,How do I get in contact with shyck Abdul, can you please give me his email or phone number. Thanks

  13. THERE ARE 3 TYPES OF ROQYAH-
1 IS THE HELAL ONE- IT IS WHEN YOU ONLY USE ALLAH SWT@S NAMES AND THE SUNNAH————– 2- IS THE ONE THAT IS HARAM, this is done by speaking funnuy and unknown words—

THEN YOU HAVE NO 3- SHiRK
AND THIS IS DONE WHEN A PERSON ATRUBUTES HIM SELF AS POWERFULL LIKE ALALH SWT –
OR HE/SHE SAYS THAT HE HAS THE SAME POWER …

AS OR YOUR QUESTION – YOU MUST FIRST LEARN THE TRUTH Yes our prophet did not do that – but he said as long as there is no SHIRKH and we use only ALLAH SWT NAMES – THEN THAT   RUQYAH IS HELAL.

    – THE CAPTIVE CIN TREATMENT IS DONE WITH ONLY ALLAH SWT’s NAMES- WITH BAKARA 148 🙂
Ve li kullin vichetun huve muvellîhâ festebikûl hayrât(hayrâti), eyne mâ tekûnû ye’ti bikumullâhu cemîâ(cemîan), innallâhe alâ kulli şey’in kadîr(kadîrun).
SO THERE IS NO SHIRK AND IT IS HELAL…
DONT BELIEVE EVERY ONES WORDS BROTHER.
    JZK.

  14. Assalamu alaikum brother just now I saw a video of one person saying that u r way of ruqya is not correct. Becoz u imprisoned the jinn and that is not correct .because our prophet Mohammed sallalahu alaihi was sallam never did this.could u plz explain is it true u do this

    1. @nasy There are people who think like you & you are right in the beginning but later you deviate. There is a lot of “so called scholars” who object on everything & they look for explicit permissibility of a thing to be halaal in every matter, whereas, we know that Fiqah has been developed because there is no “Explicit” mention of every case, so there are guiding principles for everything!!! This is the major approach that must be understood.

Now coming to the point, Jinns are just like us! There are good & bad people among them, just as we have them. We have the knowledge to imprison, torture & kill them. This knowledge is an ocean. There are Mashaikh who spend there entire lives in learning & practicing this ilm, yet they find that there is a layman who is using another Verse of the Qur’an that is more effective against a specific kind of sihr. Nabi(saw) did give us the guiding principles but he(saw) didn’t cover the spiritual effects of each and every Verse of the Qur’an. So, when we consider jinns to be beings like us then we can establish what’s right & what’s wrong in dealing with them. If they want to kill the patient & they aren’t giving up, they can be killed. If they are attacking an innocent victim again & again, Dawah should be the first option! If they don’t agree that there is a second option, allow them leave in peace & never return. Some mashaikh of baatin say that 3 chances should be given to them, as they may repent. If not, they might be killed!!! If you kill a Muslim jinn who is enslaved by stronger jinns through sihr, then you are a murderer!!!! Yes, this happens in sihr. There are guards appointed over a weaker jinn, who is forced by the powerful guards to torture the victim. When the layman does the Ruqya(calling it Ruqya sharia), the weak helpless Muslim jinn is summoned because its him who is directly doing the harm. Normal Ruqya sharia is going to summon him!!! Take my word on it! They won’t even let him speak, because if he tries to speak, they’ll kill him!!! The so-called scholar would do the Ruqya & may eventually kill that helpless Muslim jinn, so the guards will find another & force him to do the same!!! In the end the so-called sheikh will say, “Shifa is from Allah(swt)”;. Indeed, shifa is from Allah(swt) but there is something as good & bad doctor. There are many things in which we cannot compare ourselves to Nabi(saw). The hadith about the way of treatment of jinn possession says that Nabi(saw), “I’m the messenger of Allah(swt), leave in the Name of Allah you enemy of Allah”. Can you say that? The boy got cured because Nabi(saw) said this!

This is a very vast ilm & it should be noted that not even every Sheikh of Zaahir(sharia) is an expert of this Batini field. This is very evident because when such a case would come to a great Aalim, he would refer it to an expert called “Aamil”. Learning about this difference is important!

    2. @fauzi hunter i understand.
but if we have the power to do something, it doesnt make it the right thing to do.
Allah gave us all the power to see, Allah gave us all eyes, but he didnt give us permission to look at naked women with those eyes for instance.
He gives us the power, and He tests us with that power, to see whether we do what he commands, or we do what we want.
this is the same with the quran, and the power that it holds.
the quran is very powerful, and it is our test in life to see what we do with that power. do we use the quran like Allah intented for us, or do we use it like we please?

the prophet saw had taught us how we can use the quran for ruqya.
he has shown us that it is forbidden for us ( even for the prophet himself) to use our powers as human beings to bind and/or imprison a djinn.
the prophet himself had the power to bind a djinn that was harrassing him during prayer,
but he didnt do it, because he said that the power to control djinn was only for the prophet suleiman.
we are NOT allowed to control djinn, we are NOT allowed to misuse the quran as we please.
we must abide by the rules that Allah has set for us.

this is my view of it, and i believe it to be the correct one.
not because i came up with it myself, but because the prophet of God saw has taught us this.
and to go against the teachings of the prophet, is to go against God himself.
for God is the one, who had sent the prophet to teach us what to do.
      may He guide us all.

    3. +nasy its simple he cant do it if allah doesnt allow it to happen.so in my opinion allah subhanauwataallah give him permission to do that because he just borrow the power of allah subhanauwatalla words from quran and allah subhanauwatalla give him the power from almighty allah subhanawatalla words that came from quran. thats ia my opinion

  15. Brother how do i contact. With shykh abdul. Rauf. Can anyone. Give me his contact. Number. Or email? Please

    1. I met him in Toronto at the passort office, a very real man with very real knowledge and universal love, he removes bad spirit and curses…feel honoured to have met him

    1. YES , IMPORTANT IS TAWAKAYAL , THE STRONGER  TAWAKAYA YOU HAVE INSHALLAHA MORE EASILY PATIENT IS CURED , ALL THIS COMES THROUGH SALAT.

  16. Dear brothers and sister,

Pls do not get this wrong. What he is teaching is for all ordinary muslim to perform ruqyah by themselves and i find no harm in doing it as all that he teaches in this video are based on our holy book(Al-Quran).

How he is performing ruqyah is at a different level and understanding which need more depth of study probably till scholar or so and experiences. Pls do not jump to conclusion as this may lead to fitnah which sin is greater than murder.

May allah be with us through out our journey in this dunia. Insyallah.

    2) Al Kursi 2: 255.
Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

    Sura 7:117-122

And We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): “Throw your stick,” and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed.
Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.
So they were defeated there and then, and were returned disgraced.
And the sorcerers fell down prostrate.
They said: “We believe in the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
“The Lord of Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron).”

    وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ

    82.
“And Allâh will establish and make apparent the truth by His Words, however much the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) may hate it.”

“And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician’s trick, and the magician will never be successful, no matter whatever amount (of skill) he may attain.”
So the magicians fell down prostrate. They said: “We believe in the Lord of Harun (Aaron) and Musa (Moses).”

  18. This man does not practice what he preaches. His jinn Catching method is calling jinns inside a body of his “jinn catcher” and then they fight the jinns that are inside of the sick person. The sick person usually ends up with more new problems with jinns. I’ve seen this man at his centers and he says half the time he does not know what happens during these jinn fights or “ruqya” as he calls it.
This video is the total opposite of what he does in real life. BEWARE!

    1. Hodan c I agree. I’ve been to his centers and seen it live, so it took awhile to see what was happening, once you see it, it’s a complete disaster and such deep trouble.

    2. @Sid MeHere asc I really don’t see any difference between jinn catching and magician what else do you think magician would do they send jinn to others after they pray to tha satan

    3. PlanetMedia ask yourself, did our Prophet pbuh talk to jinn and did he place them in another human being’s body? I’m sure you’ll have your answer on how wrong this method is

    4. Hodan c exactly! Also because this guy uses a third person called the “jinn catcher” to house the jinn in the human body, so that person has openings to any shaytaans or jinn devils. This is so much trouble.

    5. Abdi Abdi nobody is talking about taweez which is shirk. This method of jinn catching and calling jinns into a “jinn catcher” body and then talking to the jinn is opening up the human body to unnecessary trouble. Jinns are unseen world, they will cause more harm than good.
