  2. mega..thank you…I get attacks at least once a year..first time was 10 full days not able to move without being physically sick…that was in 2009. I am now 63…since then I get it minimum once a year for 4 or 5 days…real bad spinning but no sickness….I find that when the spinning attacks stop, I am still light headed for a couple of weeks after…..I stick with the Epley because it seems to work for me…Stay well peeps…good luck and God bless…

  3. I use “Vertisis,” it works 100% for me. I believe mine is cause by my hay fever.

    1. The dizziness vertigo remedy https://t.co/xFfs9TYvka made me feel extremely better after it resolved my difficulties with dizziness. Every year I have vertigo for several days, but I`m no longer worried since I have this therapy now. This method is non-drowse, so I am not concerned of dozing off at work. I love this method!?

  4. Enjoyed the very useful vid… but like some of the comments below we need a cure of this debilitating illness

  5. I get a cracking headache w/ dizziness periodically. I take Advil Cold & Sinus, Benadryl and Advil. Sometimes one of them, sometimes all three a half an hour apart. I find it helps with the dizziness.

    1. Carol I too am very sensitive to meds. I actually take a tiny kernel of meclizine at a time. Just enough to work. I mean tiny.

    2. @Bradley Weiss that medicine helps but the side effects are horrible, even low doses make me sleep all day or feel like my head is foggy when I’m awake. It’s horrible 😖

    3. See if your doctor will prescribe meclizine. Also called antivert for anti vertigo. It’s actually an antihistamine and helps dry the inner ear while reducing the swimming feeling. It can make one drowsy much like Benadryl so be careful. But I often bite bits off and have learned how much is effective without become drowsy. If it’s a bad bout take while one and take a nap. Wish you well.

    4. I`ve attempted and tested the dizziness vertigo remedy https://t.co/Etsd4PwStq it`s efficient. There is certainly definitely a difference when I use it as opposed to when I forget to take it. Dizziness is a big issue for me, but this item aids me with it. For the past days, my head is apparent and I’ve had no flare ups ever since.?

  6. Pelosi needs to leave politics. She is holding Trump up from doing things for the people. Pelosi you are evil jealous and a poor Catholic you claim to be. RETIRE ASAP

  7. I suffered from time to time….but meclizine & antibiotics clears mine..👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

    1. I’m 17 and I’ve been getting these episodes on and off since I was 12 I dont know if its just me but I dont like taking meclizine I always tend to have a headache, drowsiness, and am always thirsty after a while I’ve been to the doctor’s but they just say take the medicine even though it barely helps, it takes a nearly a month for it to stop then again in another 5 or 6 months it’s back again 🤧

    2. Black Berry lady yeah but who wants to be hooked on pills??? Especially when all they do is treat the symptoms and not the problem.

  8. Which doctor to be consulted in this case.

I had Herpes Zoster a year back and it is cured. But still I face Dizziness frequently. Which specialist to be consulted. ENT or Nerves Specialist.

  9. i have midicine for that herbal midicine my husband suffer for almost 6 years ut when he take lagnob right away.

  10. Yep. I had Vestibular Neuronitis about 15 years ago. Symptoms did indeed clear up after 3-4 weeks.

    1. Jerry C that’s what my grandma was diagnosed with. What did you do for it to clear up

    1. The video is about explaining vertigo. Try other videos with exercises to help balance the ears.

  11. I’m not a medical student or in the medical profession, but I so enjoyed this video as I suffer with vertigo, I’m booked for a hearing test, this was very helpful to me, TYFS, and brilliantly explained. Have subscribed😘

  12. Vertigo known also to be symptom of multiple sclerosis which has no cure only delaying reducing remissions.

    1. carmen navarra hi dont know if my vertigo is treated but yes ive had no relapse of it ever again after i started using raw ginger in my food daily , starting with my morning cup of tea , freshly grounded ginger half tsp, in my meals too i see to it that fresh ginger is used no powder mind you 😊

    2. @vibhuti singh hello my name is Carmine can I ask you a few questions about how you treat your vertigo

  13. I started having a hiss sound in my left ear after ear surgery, it gets worse when tired or nervous. During surgery a unknown doctor took my 10.5 mg of Xanax that I was on for the past 39 years. Anyway, I thought it was Tinnitus until I saw this information here. I do not have tones in hearing more like a water fall sound. There are no doctors in this area that would know or care. Also now my tummy, legs feel like a buzzer going on but 1 hour sleep stops the buzzing feeling. What do you suggest for me?

  14. I had episodes off and on of vertigo for about 20 years. It would be most noticeable lying down and turning my head to the left, or standing and tipping my head back. At times the vertigo was very strong, room spinning. Went to a chiropractor who worked on my neck. Immediate relief. Since then I go back every three months to keep my neck flexible. I have a tendency to tense up the left side of my neck. I watched this to see if neck tension would be mentioned in this video. It wasn’t. I am free from vertigo….and migraine headaches cleared up as well. All apparently tension related.

    1. @XxFinalFlashXx1 Same…..left side. I do suggest a chiropractor. Explain what is going on. I found immediate relief going to one. I see a chiropractor 3 or 4 times a year to keep me loosened up. The left side of my neck gets so tight. It’s tension. I had a severe vertigo episode when my son had heart surgery in March. No doubt stress and tension did it to me. I did shrugs and it helped enormously. I stood with my arms to my side and lifted my shoulders and lowering them (shrugging) about 50 times. You can also find neck stretches on videos. Years ago doctors thought it was in my ears. They were wrong. I hope this helps. I know how miserable vertigo is.

    2. DATTA have you found any relief? I’ve been dealing with it for almost a month and share your sentiments. Would love any advice.

    3. I think I need to see one myself. I feel like I’m swaying even though I’m sitting still in my chair, get on my knees, laying down and sleeping and closing my eyes is literally the worst especially when I toss and turn in bed to my left. turning my head and body left is the worst in bed. It makes it so much harder to enjoy sleep. Left side for some reason just feels more off balance and heavier only when on my knee and lying down for some reason. ENT nor Neurologist can’t find anything wrong. Plus I feel like because of the pandemic It’s getting tighter and harder to see doctors and because of it I felt like mine personally didn’t really dig deep enough and try hard enough to find out what’s going on. It’s really depressing because doctors can’t find anything wrong and I’m getting desperate. Thing is it all happened December 8th. Woke up dizzy threw up 3 times, thought I was feeling better, felt lightheaded and all of the above ever since. I’m only 24, this has never happened EVER in my life.

  15. It’s caused by germs in the eyes, could be mild infection!
I got no more Vertigo !,!🎊

    1. @Nature GuyIn most cases this is a pre diabetic condition. There will be a change in the body pressure system and that’s what causing the head spinning and vomiting. This same pressure change affects the function of the pancreas and causes diabetes.

    2. How about tinnitus my tinnitus drive me crazy more than 3months now the noise is like buzzing or crackling if anybody know about this let me know I should I do

  16. Good job Tom!

As a certified youtube vertigo enthusiast, I have a couple of points.

Patients with Meniere’s Disease will complain of vertigo which is worsened by head movement, as all causes of vertigo are. Even central causes of vertigo are worse with head movement. But they are not solely triggered by head movement as BPPV is.

Actual traumatic vestibular nerve damage, and hyperviscosity syndromes would both be
very very rare causes of vertigo.

Nice that you mentioned vestibular migraine which is the second most common cause of vertigo after BPPV. But in fact, many patients with vestibular migraine complain that it is positional in nature. And as I mentioned, all causes of vertigo are made worse by head movement. And the episodes of vestibular migraine can last days and sometimes even more. The tricky part is that up to half of their recurrent episodes of vertigo can be isolated, with no headache or visual aura. And in fact, the most common associated symptom with vestibular migraine is photophobia.

    Overall very good, Tom.

    Peter

    1. Peter Johns , how does one become a certified YouTube vertigo enthusiast?? 🤔😅

    2. all that, to say “all causes of vertigo are worsened by head movement”, which you said twice

      overall poor,
      Dick

    1. Physical therapy to get crystals back in place. Two sessions and I had no more vertigo!

  17. Just came from a visit to a doctor, who told me to take antidepressants for my issue. Hah. I had a car accident 3 years ago, was painful for me even to open my mouth. The treatment I’ve received was only taking medicaments. The disc between C3 and C4 is “melting away”. I have a baaad deeziness and vomiting. And was told not to do any exercises and massage, that was surpsing to me. I found it really strange to take anitidepresants for my issue and nothing else can’t be done. True that this summer when the pain in my neck was strong I had terrifying psychological conditions and depression, but how come my neck has nothing to do with that… I’m pissed off and don’t know what to do anymore. And after the doctors are telling people that we are dumb to use y-tube and Google for information. Great video.

    1. Shushi Mushi So true, the chiropractors on YouTube have helped me so much more than my doctor, they really explain the causes. The doctor just wants to give me a pill.

    2. If you have damage to your spine and neck pain and vertigo you could have a csf leak. Spinal fluid leak. Look up the symptoms. Many doctors have put me on antidepressants over the years. I think that is their way of saying I don’t know how to treat you. Keep fighting

    3. Shushi Mushi
      Hi
Actually some time Doc prescribe some antidepressants for vertigo but its not first line .
So you have tow separate issues:
      1 disc prolapsed
      2 dizziness ( vertigo)
You should ask your self is there any relationship between it ?
Is it started together at the same time ?
Is the dizziness related to movement?
Did you use any medication ?
Any symptoms like weakness , paresthesia, tinnitus or hearing loss ?
      I hope u get better
And regarding what written in google some time its harm for the patient more than help

  18. Is there an ENT section for adults too? Can only finds paeds ENT on your website. Thanks!
