We’ve talked a lot about vertigo on this channel and what you can to do get some relief. But we haven’t talked a lot about diets and foods for vertigo. In another video we did a while back we talked about how ginger and other foods can help with your vertigo, and the link to the video list below; but what about your diet, fruits, vegetables, protein, what should you buy and/or avoid from the grocery store? In today’s video we’re talking about what foods to eat to help with vertigo episodes. In general, we want to stay away from cheeses and alcohol and focus heavily on fruits, vegetables and protein. Anything ingredients you can’t pronounce on the back of a box is a good not to eat.

  1. Binges on alcohol, caffeine, heavy calorie salty food like pizza…………….if you have crazy nights of that, almost guaranteed a bout of BPPV.

Moderation is key. If you can stay away from alcohol, caffeine and high sodium you have a good start. As far as vertigo from bppv anyways. Outside of head trauma and such of course.

  2. Hey Doc, I live in St. Louis, MO. Can you please refer me to a local corrective chiropractor?

    1. I would say you should speak with the person that told you to have a hearing test.

  5. How can food have anything to do with vertigo if your body naturally causes this action ? You speak nothing of what you specifically do or do not eat for vertigo…but speak of a holistic eating is all. No dog’s or donts

    1. Hi Dave! Thanks for the feedback. I will be working on some specifics for you! Look for the video in a few weeks.

  6. Hi I have vppb and nothing seems to help is there a surgery for vppb ? Because my ENT told me she doesn’t know what else to do please help 😪

    1. @Align Wellness Center I’ve tried everything and nothing helps I’ve been dizzy for the past 5 months is there a surgery for bppv?

    2. Have you tried Corrective Chiropractic? It has helped many when nothing else has.

  7. I get bad vertigo with my inner ear. What is the causes? I was waking in the and get dizzy walking from my car to a front door.

  8. I have been going through this for 3 days, it’s eased but can’t get rid of spins when I get out of bed. Where should I go? And I went to ER just to get medicine that has helped but not taken away the symptoms

  9. Has anyone had a Marie Callender Plant braised chicken pot pie? Yucks. Like diet cola they Don’t taste like the real thing. Fresh fruits and vegetables I like but plant based meat… fudgedaboudit.

    1. @Align Wellness Center i experience dok virtigo.in the morning when I wake up.one week of this kind of sick

    2. I am with you. You should go for the real thing. Many of the plant based proteins have a lot of artificial ingredients. Keep it simple and keep your diet clean.

    1. If you have ear ringing, blurry vision, nausea, and sharp pains, then neurologist is probably better!
