      That’s right. You just understood what magic is. Manipulating your mind and having a shift in consciousness so as to get practical results in the real world. That’s about right. Call it placebo if you will, call it a self-fulfilling prophecy, the power of the mind, willpower or whatever you like. Just as long as I can get the desired outcome by certain methods and techniques, then it works for me. “Believe you can and you’re halfway there”, isn’t that what they say? Magic is no different. If you manage to make yourself believe that you can do something and if you manipulate your mind in a certain way and act as if you’ve already achieved, chances are you will achieve and you’ll see your goal realized. It works and it can have some really pleasant results for those who have learnt how to use it. If you can’t, that’s your problem. But you can’t call it bull$hit because you’re incapable of understanding how one can gain control over their consciousness and bring results out of it.
