Witchcraft is no different than spirituality and having dreams that can be interpreted with or by astronomy as well as numerology, even astrology! Sadly, people are ignorant and fear what they don’t understand among hating what they cannot conquer.
See this where you are wrong, your confusing new age belief with witchcraft. Witchcraft is pretty broad and can get very primitive and very dark but most tend not to due to their own morals but cruel people don’t make a practice inherently evil if that were the case than Christianity would be evil but it’s not cuz things aren’t black and white as much as we like to make them. I may not like it but I understand why some witches were killed because some killed and mutilated people to better themselves in power but hysteria and killing off anyone without proof except a birth mark or gossip is more cult like than witchcraft is. It’s one thing to punish a witch for killing but another for their practice.
