I’m as materialist as you can come…BUT: I will always prefer and defend the “Pagan” beleifs that rely on actual reality, on nature itself. Some form of this might be extremely useful for humanity. I would prefer Supreme Fictions as the guiding rule, in which we know the beliefs probably aren’t literally true, but true none the less on a different (more useful) level.

@grey talon – I like the King James because it’s closest to the original Hebrew of the old testament, and the original Greek of the new testament. I use other translations for study sometimes. They are the same in general, just worded a little differently.
