  1. In islam why does it forbid magic I mean I get it’s haram but I thought magic doesn’t exist and what is evil eye?

    1. @IbnAlIslam I’m not Muslim so please forgive me. Is the above interpretation the same as the verses from the Bible where Moses dealt with Pharoah?

    2. @IbnAlIslam You should take off that echo reverb on your voice as your speaking, especially when giving facts and information. It’s very distracting to what your saying and makes it harder for your listening audience to hear what your saying and retain the information. I studied Sound Engineering at University, worked in recording studio and have been a teacher as well as doing A LOT of public speaking over the past 20 years. You have a great speaking voice and I personally find this information very interesting and you don’t even need to add an echo to your voice. It kind of muddles/muffles up your words at times so I would really love to hear this again but without that reverb on your voice track. Keep up the great work!

    3. Wa’alaikum salam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh ,

      – The verses from Surat al-A’araf, which are as follows (interpretation of the meaning): “[Pharaoh] said: ‘If you have come with a sign, show it forth, if you are one of those who tell the truth.’ Then [Musa] threw his stick and behold! it was a serpent, manifest! And he drew out his hand, and behold! It was white (with radiance) for the beholders. The chiefs of the people of Pharaoh said: ‘This is indeed a well-versed sorcerer; He wants to get you out of your land, so what do you advise?’ They said: ‘Put him and his brother off (for a time), and send callers to the cities to collect — That they bring to you all well-versed sorcerers.’ And so the sorcerers came to Pharaoh. They said: ‘Indeed there will be a (good) reward for us if we are the victors.’ He said: ‘Yes, and moreover you will (in that case) be of the nearest (to me).’ They said: ‘O Musa! Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?’ He [Musa] said: ‘Throw you (first).’ So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic. And We revealed to Musa (saying): ‘Throw your stick,’ and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehood which they showed. Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So they were defeated there and returned disgraced. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate. They said: ‘We believe in the Lord of the ‘Alameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). The Lord of Musa and Harun.’” [7:106-122]

      – The verses from Surat Yoonus, which are as follows (interpretation of the meaning): “And Pharaoh said: ‘Bring me every well-versed sorcerer.’ And when the sorcerers came, Musa said to them: ‘Cast down what you want to cast!’ Then when they had cast down, Musa said: ‘What you have brought is sorcery, Allah will surely make it of no effect. Verily, Allah does not set right the work of Al-Mufsidoon (corrupters). And Allah will establish and make apparent the truth by His Words, however much the Mujrimun (criminals) may hate (it).’” [10:79-82]

  6. This is an great link with all details of how to perform Ruqya on oneself

    https://islamqa.info/en/answers/12918/ways-of-treating-magic

    I have also simplified it:

    Reciting ruqyahs prescribed in sharee’ah.

He should take seven green lotus leaves and grind them with a stone or the like, put them in a vessel and pour water over them, enough to do ghusl with, and recite over them the following:
    1-Soorat al-Faatihah.
    2-Ayatul Kursi
    3-Verses from Surah al-A’raaf 7:106-122
    4-Verses from Surah Yunus 10:79-82
    5-Verses from Syrah Ta-Ha 20:65-69
    6- Surah Al-Kafiroon
    7- Surah Al-Falak
    8- Surah Al Naas
9-Some du’aa’s that are prescribed in sharee’ah, such as “Allaahumma Rabb al-naas, adhhib il-ba’s, washfi anta al-Shaafi laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman (O Allaah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal him, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing, with a healing which does not leave any disease behind)” three times.

If he recites along with that the words

“Bismillaah arqeeka min kulli shay’in yu’dheeka, wa min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid Allaah yashfeek, bismillaah arqeek (In the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you, from every thing that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye may Allaah heal you, in the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you)” three times,

  7. Okay, so, al fatihah( the most effective ruqyah) (5times until 7times) blows on the water , ayat al qursi, two last verse al baqarah, last three surahs in quran do it in morning and night/evening, if magic, selected verses of al arafh and surah yunus (sorry if wrong surah’s name) recommended blow on zam zam water.

Im doing this because i have this this deluded thought that thinking i was someone important, someone may be high in spiritual position til like antichrist, always thinking everyone have eyes on me and i always like to talk to myself (thought i consider this is actually normal btw), theres no nightmare and such but somehow i feel like my brain seems sick? So i should perform these, i really wish that someone else can perform on me instead of myself but i just dont have courage to do it. Maybe i was just overthinking about it but i will just going to do it anyway.

  8. I asked my brothers jinn what his name was and he said “mark”, but I know he is lying. how do I get this jinni to take me serious amd tell me what it is, its name, and how it got in the body?

    1. @Yusuf Ahmed I haven’t seen my brother in a while. When I see him I will recite Quran over him and let you know inshaAllah

    2. Such information is none of your concern. Your only aim must be to perform Ruqyah Shar’iah over yourself & get rid of the problem & not encourage interactions

    3. @Dawah in DeutschlandAlaykum Salaam. i have tried reciting. Nothing works. But i only know Yasin, Fatiha, An Nass, Al Falaq, Al Ihklas, and Al zalzalah.

    4. @Tama DoucoureWa Alaykum Salaam. no i dont but the only surahs i have memorized is Al Fatihah, Ihklas, An nass, Al Falaq, and Al Zalzalah. So i just do what I can.

    1. Surah mentioned here:
      Al-Fatihah
      Ayatul Qursy
      2 last ayah from Al-Baqarah
      Last 3 surah of Qur’an
      Al A’raf
      Al Yunus

  9. If i cannot recite all the verses myself can i put my tablet on top of a saucepan with water and let it recite loudly then shower with it? Pliz can somebody answer its really important i listen to coran everyday cuse i sleep with it but wanna do roqya by myself and dont know all the verses so

    1. Assalamoalaikum. The very least you can recite is to recite surah fatiha, ayat al kursi, surah falaq and nass, surah ikhlas and last two verses of surah baqara. If you can’t recite them then it’s best to learn first. It shouldn’t take you more than two days to learn them InshaAllah and Allah knows best

    2. Nene Mbengue No you can’t. With things unseen, it’s unwise to try to shortcut your way past things.

    3. Nene Mbengue the saliva should be with the blow but by mobile or just like that you can’t do so. Allah knows best

  10. One question strikes in mind when there is procedure said how to do it. Its found in narration as you said the following Narration, reciting Surahtu Fatiya. Then why adding others.. verses.

      *The Question :*

Is it permissible for the purpose of shar‘i ruqyah (prescribed incantation) to try to choose verses, saheeh hadeeths (authentic reports) and proven du‘as (supplications)? Or is it obligatory to follow what is the proven in the saheeh hadeeths that speak specifically of ruqyah as prescribed in sharee‘ah (Islamic law)?

      *The answer :*

      Praise be to Allah.

If the one who performs ruqyah does so by reciting general verses of the Quran or general prayers seeking refuge with Allah or other du‘as for ruqyah, or whatever Allah may inspire him with of saheeh (authentic) du‘as that are appropriate to the situation, without restricting it to the specific ruqyahs that have been narrated, there is nothing wrong with that in sha Allah, because of the general meaning of the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): “Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, let him do so.” [Ahmad]

And the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is nothing wrong with a ruqyah that does not involve shirk (paganism).” [Muslim].

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The scholars are unanimously agreed that ruqya is permissible if three conditions are met:

It should be done by reciting the words of Allah, may He be exalted, or His names and attributes, and in Arabic or in a language the meaning of which is understood, and with the belief that ruqyah has no effect in and of itself; rather it is only effective by the will of Allah, may He be exalted.

They differed as to whether that is a condition; the correct view is that it is essential to pay attention to the above-mentioned conditions. In Saheeh Muslim it is narrated that ‘Awf ibn Malik said: We used to recite ruqyahs during the jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic days of ignorance), and we said: O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about that? He said: “Recite your ruqyahs to me. There is nothing wrong with a ruqyah that does not involve shirk.”

And he narrated from Jabir: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade ruqyah, then the family of ‘Amr ibn Hazm came to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, we had a ruqyah that we used to recite for scorpion stings, but you have forbidden ruqyah. They recited it to him and he said: “I do not see anything wrong with it. Whoever among you can benefit his brother, let him do so.”

Some scholars adhered to this general meaning and regarded as permissible any ruqyah that brings benefits even if the meaning does not make sense. But the hadeeth of ‘Awf indicates that any ruqyah that leads to shirk is forbidden, and anything that does not make sense cannot be guaranteed not to lead to shirk, so it is forbidden as a precaution. And the final condition is essential. … al-Qurtubi said: Whatever (ruqyah) is by reciting the words or names of Allah is permissible; if it is narrated in a report (from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) it is mustahabb (preferred).

      End quote from Fath al-Baari.

Al-Khattabi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

With regard to ruqyah, what is forbidden is that which is not in Arabic, because it is not known what it means and perhaps it may involve witchcraft or kufr (disbelief). But if the meaning is clear and it contains mention of Allah, may He be exalted, then it is permissible to use it for ruqyah.

      End quote from Ma‘alim as-Sunan.

Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Ruqyah is of four types: that which is mentioned in the Sunnah (prophetic teachings) – it is prescribed and mustahabb to use it as ruqyah; that which is shirk or bid‘ah (an innovation) – it is haram (impermissible) to use it as ruqyah; that which is a permissible du‘a in which there is no shirk or bid‘ah, but it is not something that was narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him and his family) – it is permissible to use this as ruqyah. Hence the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said concerning ruqyah: “There is nothing wrong with it so long as it is not shirk.”

End quote from Fatawa Noor ‘ala ad-Darb.
