  1. I am 2+ months post stroke. I was lucky and only had my balance affected, which also resulted in dizziness. How long each day do you recommend performing these exercises? I finished rehab about 3 weeks ago due to my rapid progress. Thank you.

  2. Thank you for your videos Tara. I had a hemorrhagic stroke 3 years ago, and my ability to walk becomes weaker every year. These videos are very informative ,and I really find the exercises beneficial in my recovery.

  3. Thanks Dr. Tara. I am sure that these easy exercises will help a good friend of mine who suffered a stroke a few days ago and has lost his balance.

  4. Dizziness had various phases for my husband for four to five years, so I provided him the dizziness vertigo remedy. He began getting results after 4 days, and now after a week, even though not 100% yet he`s had very long periods of full alleviation. Ideally, with continuing usage, he`ll be dizzy free before too long. If I did not spend couple days to research it on Google, I could not find this tip. The tip’s name is below.

    1. @Rehab HQ why speech therapist.. not sure understand that.. how they can help

    2. Thanks for the question Dan! Yes, “brain games”. There are a lot of different ones out there. Also, a visit with a speech therapist would be extremely valuable to get more “technical and/or specific” exercises to your cognitive impairments.

    1. Dan, I am so happy to help. You are not alone. Many people are not getting the rehab they need during this time. Although in-person therapy is best, I am glad I can help you through this time. Hang in there!

  9. Dizziness came with different phases for my partner for four to five years, so I offered him the dizziness vertigo treatment. He began having results after 4 days, and now right after a week, even though not 100% yet he`s had long periods of total alleviation. I am hoping this therapy will be the answer and he`ll have no more dizziness issues to endure. I save your time to do the research on Google. The guidebook’s name is below.

  11. My mom suffered from vertigo, which got more serious after she fell, got a concussion, and was given more medication. The dizziness vertigo remedy was the therapy that took away her dizziness permanently. If I did not spend all day to research it on Google, I could not find this tip. The tip’s name is at the bottom.

    thanks

  12. The dizziness vertigo option saved my well being from further troubles. I was light headed with vertigo and also would have unbearable episodes. I had been afraid to drive my automobile because I had one spell while driving. Thru this treatment solution that I was using twice daily for four months now, I do not feel light-headed, nauseated, or dizzy at all. I save your time to do the research on Google. The tip’s name is at the bottom.

  13. Great video! Can you do a video on treatment for central vestibular disorders??

    1. @Jeff wright ok, vestibular is very different than treating a balance impairment with a patient who has suffered a stroke. This video has nothing to do with VOR. I hope that helps to clarify!

    2. Orlando Neuro Therapy ok. We have a great knowledge base of most neuro conditions between us. Was just hoping for some pointers that we may be missing out on. Thanks!

    3. @Jeff wright Thanks Jeff, My suggestion is to take some neuro CE courses. Neuro is really involved and if you are seeing a high volume of these patients, it is in the best interest of the patients you serve for your staff to be knowledgeable in this area. For stroke I recommend an NDT or Neuro IFRAH certification and for vestibular are recommend either search medbridge (most clinics have accounts for their employees) or https://vestibular.org/resources-professionals/build-your-practice.

    4. I work in a neuro outpatient PT clinic and we have seen an increase in these patients. Would love some ideas on how to treat them other than VOR cancellation. One of my coworkers just found you and You have given us some really great new ways to treat our neuro patients so thanks for doing these videos they’re amazing!!

    5. Thanks for watching! I can add this to the list. To help me out, what movements/activities cause your dizziness?

  14. Very good exercises, as always on your channel. Not so easy and a bit tricky to perform with high tone in one arm… Regaining balance after a stroke is a really complex task. And there are always good days and bad days. But your videos help so much – thank you, Dr. Tara 👍👍🤗🤗💛💛🙏🙏

  15. Keep going .. I am the once who is watching you early everyday . As i have 37 years and very far from you … let chat again .

  16. Thanks for posting your explanation and examples of balancing exercises. Very useful- watched video a couple times.

  17. Thanks so much Dr. Tara. Based on your experience would you be able to post additional information on chronic post-stroke dizziness when in upright position?
