I had hair loss issues a few years back and it was so hard to pinpoint! They did a very thorough blood workup and it took quite a while to explore everything but they found out I had drug inpuced lupus from medication I was on. Years later I take a different medication and my hair is back to normal
@inluvwithglitter 🙁 it was a psoriatic like dermatitis (induced by Humira) for me, that caused total hair loss, not to mention the skin on all my body got inflamed. Thankfully, my hair has grown since, but it was a total desperation at that time and we had to quit the therapy immediately. Now, after four years, I’m currently on Stelara. I’m happy to see Your situation got also better! Sadly, dermatologists here in Czech republic are basically clueless about immunosuppressants induced skin/hair problems and I live in constant fear, that the it will repeat. It’s my secret wish, that dr. Dray would speak about how to handle, when our immune system tries to strip us from our skin 😀 but I realize it’s very specific topic and probably only few people would be interested. Hope everything will go smooth for You and Your treatment in the future and thank You for sharing 🙂

I have been loving your recent videos!! Have you ever considered one on sunscreen ingredients and pregnancy? I find it hard to interpret the studies on my own.
@Morgan I would check her video on skin care during pregnancy to see which ones she’s recommended. I’d also check videos from other derms who have pregnancy skin care videos like The Budget Dermatologist, Dr Shereene Idriss, Dr Alexis Stephens, and even Dr. Jenny Liu who’ve all released videos in the past year.
@Dr Dray yes I am aware!! I know zinc oxide is at least- however i think there are studies suggesting oxybenzone may cause birth defects and the EWG (who I know you don’t like) says a bunch of stuff about octinoxate which worries me because I really like elta md UV clear

I like to shampoo my hair every day as well. However, I have to do it more than once a day because I do ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. That being said, this is an interesting video and I am glad that I am taking vitamin D supplements. ☺️👍🏼
Oh, gosh, with working out hard first thing in the morning, then giving riding lessons for several hours in the dust, THEN training/riding two to four horses a day (45 mins – one hour each), with a helmet and safety vest on, I HAD to shower and wash hair twice daily! That was my routine for 20 years!
Good to know I am not the only one that washes everyday.
