  3. What if this hairfall is nt because of Covid but because of covid’ medication. The adverse effect. None is talking abt adverse effects of medication/ vaccinations etc

    1. Sir, vaccine is indeed causing hairfall. I never had covid. As soon as I took my 2nd dose, a sudden increase in hairfall . Am just 21 , and I don’t have people who were losing hair at that age in my family, so it can’t be genetic. It can’t be hormonal imbalance or anything either, because it has started after I took the vaccination. Highly unlikely that there was a sudden imbalance in my hormones at the same time that I took the vaccine.

Dr Pankaj chaturvedi , charges 2500 for a visit , in which he does not have time to talk to you , all these doctors are interested in , is selling expensive hair transplant and pro to you in which they get to make atleast 20-30k . They dont bother about a patient’s history or any other cause that could be aggravating the hair loss.

  11. I’m so frustrated , hair shredding like hell…I was so stressed , my period is irregular… I cut my hair by myself n now I look like joker.. so I don’t see any silver lining of breaking stress😷

    4. @Mahesh Kumar I stopped taking stress about the hair shedding… after expensive dermatologist & hair salon visit… apart from spending money I’m putting lot of effort to not to take STRESS😃.. but yeah will update my experience after 47 days

  13. I had faced the same problem and my hair started to lose in patches and put me into more stress then I shaved my head and no more stress, I guess I killed the stress part of it

    hoping for the hair to regrow in the coming 6 months

  14. Why doesn’t NDTV also talk about post vaccine side effects. Why is there no data on people who are indeed suffering after vaccinations. What about the nerve and blood clotting problems that are coming out. What about Gullian Barrie syndrome cases that are being reported, people getting strokes at younger ages after covishield and it’s connection with blood clotting etc ?

    1. @A D I am not an anti vaxxer but I do believe these vaccines have been rolled out a little too quickly. I am just 21. People younger than me too are experiencing hair fall. No one knows what the long term effects would be. Even dermatologists themselves have no idea what is going on. I have been given medications ranging from androgens to anti fungi to paraben free shampoo. To cover all the aspects, because,like I said no one knows what is going on.

    2. @Ishaan Singh Omg. Actually I too know of some people who are getting hairfall and all have taken the vaccines. This is how they fool people. Not a single news channel is showing both sides of the story. All are running one sided agendas.

    3. Excessive hairfall is happening after taking the vaccine. I never had covid but am losing hair too. Many people who didn’t have covid are facing this after taking the vaccination. This is a legit long term side effect.

  19. I got infected with Covid in May 2021 and suffered heavily. Its been more than 1.5 months since I started suffering from hair loss. I have literally become bald ! To anybody who thinks this is silly, I would like to mention that this is a serious side effect.

      I started to shred my hair after 2 months of recovery and noticed the bald patch in my beard after a week of recovery.

Its start after first week of recovery…first I ignored it as I ve heavy and dense hair…but it triggered me when I moved my hand in hair and more then 20 hairs coming in my hand at a time without applying any force….that time I was feared then i think I survived covid and still alive thank to God. ….That time I decided it doesn’t matter now i m alive and that’s enough for me…from that day I ignore hair loss and not taking any stress about my hair loss. Doesn’t take any medicine as well..

Maharashtra Govt it seems is not concerned about its Poor who travel by BEST particularly from APMC, Turbhe They have stopped the additional ST Buses that used to be a help, was that done to get Brownie Points? That has been stopped since more than a month and now those who are travelling by BEST have to wait for 1 to 2 hours and sometimes 3 hours and spend triple money on other mode of transport, and over and above it, BEST Conductors are not stopping BEST Buses when even seats are available. It seems Maharashtra Govt wants to make the BEST travellers suffer. Taxes are paid by Citizens and Govt makes us suffer. Why the additional ST Buses were stopped for BEST, does it take a politician to request Govt to restart or the Govt cannot plan ahead or no intention is the question. Citizens tax and we are derived of the basics travelling. All Govt people must be having Cars and Bikes, but the poor only BEST.

  28. Yup! About six weeks after I was diagnosed, my hair started falling a lot. First week I was losing about three handfulls of hair everyday. Now there is a decrease, but I feel like at least one third is gone already. So, it is what it is. Don’t panic, take care of yourself and eat healthy. It shoould come back eventually.

  42. Root cause of hair loss is indigestion ,low intake of zinc ,selinium,, vitamin e,folic acid, Omega fatty acids . Use homeopathic arnica hair oil and hamdards rogun badam oil .only

I am doing all this, eating healthy, taking vitamins, Sun bath, no stress, massage my scalp regularly and normally I have long, thick and healthy hair. 2 months after Covid-19 (I had medium hard version) I started shedding hands full of hair each time I comb it or wash it, it is pretty exhausting.
