Isn’t fluoride a class 1 carcinogen
This is crap. Dental health is low because of the sugar/starch filled food recommended by that stupid food pyramid. Look at the food marketed for kids and you blame parents? Puhleez
Also… people don’t floss.
Ultimately, sugar converts into acid in the mouth, which can then erode the enamel of your teeth. These acids are what lead to cavities. Acidic fruits, teas, and coffee can also wear down tooth enamel. While you don’t necessarily have to avoid such foods altogether, it doesn’t hurt to be mindful.
Uh huh… establishment medicine… they admit that children in the U.S. have MORE tooth decay problems and in the very same breath preach the lie that flouridation of our water has reduced tooth decay in the population!

Not one of these people mention the unpleasant nature of having a primitive needle used to numb your mouth, so that the kids and the adults waiting the lobby do not hear you screaming in agony.
Rob Fiduccia what is your issue with this? As in, what do you have against it?
I am blessed that my mother drilled the importance of good dental care early on. Throughout the course of my life I had a lot of dental work done and it is costly let me tell you. I wish insurance companies would treat dental care like a necessity rather than a luxury. As a result I had to choose between buying a car and fixing my teeth. I chose my teeth because my life and health come first. One can always use public transportation, a bicycle, walk, ride sharing, cabbing and also rely on the goodwill of family, friends and strangers for a ride.
One thing I will say is that when one is consistent with good dental hygiene one can skip going to dentist for a while if hard times befall one. When I say consistent I mean floss, rinse and brush all over daily. That and I am not a big soda drinker though I have a sweet tooth.
Flossing in my opinion is more important than brushing. I’ve been in situations where brushing my teeth properly was not possible such as a long flight or bus ride. So I always made sure to floss and thoroughly rinse my mouth until I could get to a place where I could brush my teeth right.
Your teeth will thank you later.
