  2. I already did all these things before watching this vid. I’m proud😊😊😊

  3. I always do these every single day… but my problem is that I get tonsil stones even if I do this. Can you suggest something to prevent tonsil stones from happening? 🙂 Thank you so much for this video. <3

    1. always ask your dentist and/or physician for their advice on your individual mouth! but I gargle with warm water (and sometimes add salt) to help prevent!

  4. Hi. I added salt water gargle in my routine, doing it 2 times a day. In addition, I used baking soda once a week. Just want to ask if am I damaging my teeth with these?

    1. BURST has one now. burstoralcare.com and I’m an ambassador so I have a 40%off code that might help! the code is VYUADG

  5. hi, my water flosser doesn’t have as much pressure no more so i’ve stopped using it. i’ve tried cleaning it but it didn’t help. any recommendations?

  6. Hi I have brown circular spot on my molar and I’m really worried about it 🥺 I’m not so much worried about getting a filling but the fact that it’s there and I can’t do anything about it apart from keep a good oral routine is creating a lot of anxiety for me as I know that it will only get worse from here on out. Any tips?

    1. if your dental office is not currently open – I would call and ask for their advice and recommendations for you regarding that tooth since they will have updated chart information on your individual mouth! hope this helps!

  7. I used to get teased for having a brush with me at school and at work for after lunch, I didn’t even know a third brush was given the green light by dentists, I just used to gently get rid of the food on my molars and wanted minty breath. People used to look at me weird and comment in the bathrooms 😂

    1. And now you’re a teeth model for crest♡ haha jk but you probably have perfect teeth compared to everyone who made fun of you

  8. Is it ok if I brush my teeth one time every day at night?I also brush my teeth at least 4 to 5 min

    1. it is recommended to brush two times each day – once in the morning and once at night! hope this helps!

  9. Hi Guys,
I found a really cool product called: Steel Bite Pro
I gave it a shot and loved it.
    here is the link: shorturl.at/bfxCZ

    1. but I personally make sure I always brush right when I wake up before breakfast! and then I try to always floss after breakfast and swish with fluoride mouthwash! always ask your dental provider what they recommend for you 🙂

    2. technically if you can – that would be great too! and you should wait 30 minutes after eating!

  10. I love this! I’m really trying to get into making sure that everything in my life is balanced, and this video really helped a lot. I keep seeing false information being spread about dental hygiene (or tips; stuff that can hurt your teeth and gums rather than help at all), so it’s refreshing to see these simple, non-harmful suggestions. ❤

    1. @Teeth Talk Girl Of course. Keep up the great content! It’s satisfying to watch and very informative. 🙂

    2. THANK YOU for saying that! It’s so reassuring to read this comment – because I work really hard to provide REAL dental health tips 🙂 so happy you’re here 🙂

  11. When you have a instant water floss advert at the end of the video…
    10 second floss apparently

    1. oh wow hahahaha can’t control what they advertise that’s so funny

  12. I saw this a few weeks ago and it really motivated me to clean my teeth! I managed to remove about 80 percent of the buildup at the back of my teeth but the edges are a bit harder

    1. once your dentist is open again – they will be able to remove the buildup form the edges! thank you for watching 🙂

  13. Great video! I’ve heard though that you shouldn’t brush your teeth after you eat for at least half hour-an hour, but preferably you should brush before you eat. Is this not true? Thanks!

    1. yes! the ADA says to wait at least 30-60 minutes to brush your teeth after eating – that’s a thing! the brushing before you eat is a thing in the morning – you def want to brush right when you wake up if you can! hope this helps!

  14. Hiii, is it true that you should not rinse but just spit the toothpaste out? Is it not harmful?

  15. I really suck at dental hygiene :/ like really bad. Plus I have braces so its even worse. (I was also born premature and had to be given some medication, according to my mom it effected my teeth?)

  16. why do i feel like when i use dental floss it makes the space in between my teeth a lot bigger?

    1. you should use a waterpik to floss. That’s what I use but because I have braces, but it’s still effective. I personally hate using that string in-between my teeth lol

    2. it won’t make the space between your teeth bigger – but it will remove plaque that was stuck in that space so it is now exposed. hope that helps!

  17. I didnt take good care of my teeth for like a lot of time like a lot… Now I’m going to be better

  18. Watched this video because my dental hygienist was disappointed with my latest review. Lol, thanks for the tips!

  19. I had like 5 or 6 decay and had a toothache so I went to a dentist 2 weeks ago and now I’m taking care my teeth very seriously I brush twice a day floss once a day and I use mouthwash. I’ve heard stannous fluoride better than the other ones when it comes to preventing cavities so I wanted to buy a stannous fluoride toothpaste but they were so damn expensive. right now I use a sensitive toothpaste with sodium monofluorophosphate is it good for preventing decay? or Should I use a stannous one?

    1. As long as there is some type of fluoride – it is generally considered good at helping prevent decay. as far as the different types of fluoride – I haven’t read much research about that. I always recommend to ask your dentist what they recommend for your mouth. Hope this helps!

  20. Very informative! I thought I knew how to take care of my teeth but this showed me how much I don’t know!

    1. Thank you so much for watching! Sending positive toothy vibes your way!

  21. Great video 😉 I water floss daily but I find it so hard to floss with a thread so I use those disposable dental floss picks! But how many should I use for flossing I don’t wanna spread bacteria 🥺xx

  22. I have a question is a electric toothbrush better than a Manuel and if so what electric toothbrush is good

    1. Due to user-error of manual toothbrushes – electric toothbrushes often benefit patients more. I truly like most of them…especially sonicare, burst, and oral-b. Hope this helps! In the video, I’m using burst and I have a coupon code in the bottom bar. Happy brushing!

  23. Yes! Drinking lots of water… best advice! 👍 & brushing…& flossing… 😁

  24. Wonderful video again Whitney!!!! You know I feel that so many people are to fast at cleaning their teeth including my roommates hahahaha I can’t do it for them of course, but as you know I have always been into oral health and spending lots of time taking care of my teeth hahahaha!!! A lot of people just want to get it over with and done but this is such a bad mentality. We got to do things right. I know my roommates for example some of them have electric toothbrushes but they it seems like turn the brush on and then off and say that is good enough. They think that the electric toothbrush is going to just speed through everything in reality they are not using the 2 minute timer and quad paces that it has. The mentality is “oh it is electric, so I can just use it for 10 seconds or a little les and good.” No!!! This is bad a you and I know hahahaha!!! That is why I get asked sometimes why I spend a lot of time in the bathroom just for my teeth hahahahaha Oh no!!!! I tell them,,, well, it is good for you to spend time and that is why I do it. Flossing and everything else to I do and it is like a spa session for me. I am proud of cleaning teeth and keeping my game up. I should beeing a that i am a dental Greek hahahahaha and beings that i am on the toothy team with you i got to set that example as a dental patient for those around me.

  25. I was wondering if you can post your thoughts about remineralizing teeth. I’ve seen some videos of people creating their own toothpaste that can help restore their enamel. I’m looking for a qualified person to share their thoughts on that 🙂

  26. You should do a video on ultrasound, not ultrasonic, ultrasound toothbrushes please. Also, have you heard of periogen? I’ve heard it works quite well.

  27. How do I get my gums to stop bleeding they always have all my life 😖

  28. This was amazing, thank you! I love your channel I recommend it to anyone if we start talking about teeth! 😂 quick question, I’ve had braces for about 9 months now and I’ve noticed that my gums are starting to get swollen. Is there anything I can do to help reduce the swelling?

    1. Teeth Talk Girl I’ll check out your video, thank you so much for the reply! 💕

  29. My interdental aids came in yesterday and when I say they feel amazing on my poor inflamed gums! I watched your video on Friday night and placed my order for the water pik, electric toothbrush, a fluoride mouth wash, tongue cleaner and the aids. A little bit expensive but worth it b/c my gums have stopped aching in a matter of days. thank you so much for all these videos!

    1. OH MY GOODNESSS! You just made my entire day. You are so amazing on team dental health! Keep up the great work! Than you again for letting me know!

  30. Each time I brush my teeth, I always get really thirsty so I tend to drink water right after brushing. Is it because of the toothpaste ? Is it actually bad for the teeth ?

    1. That’s fine! It’s not at all bad for the teeth to drink plain water! It’s just recommended to try and leave the fluoride on your teeth for as long as possible (whether it is from the toothpaste or a fluoride mouthwash). Hope this helps!

  31. Love this video! Can you make a video about what foods you eat and what foods you avoid to have healthy teeth?

    1. Thank you for watching! Totally great video idea! I will definitely work on that!!! Until then – the best things to avoid are sugar and carbs (especially fermentable carbs)! Stay tuned!

    1. YESSSS! Working on a pros and cons list right now for an upcoming video!!!!!! You read my mind 🙂

  32. I’ve always left the toothpaste on my teeth after my dentist told me not to rinse 😂 then I go and read for half an hour then use a fluoride mouthwash x

    1. @Jite Ugono no u r rewarded nothing but learning the truths of this world and yes u r referred to as more free thinking because u think deeper about what u r being told to instantly believe and because u acatually took the time to see the other side of what other people who r free thinkers believe meaning again u r more of a free thinker and therefore independent like you should should be

    2. @Ms. Johnson a group has interpreted information for them and told them who/what to ignore. Whomever doesn’t see the world the way they do must be called stupid or unthinking. If you agree with them you are rewarded by being seen as smart and ironically, Indepedent of thought

    3. @Jite Ugono no actually they’re people who were told a new view and thought about it themselves and agreed and don’t only listen to what the government tells them

    4. @Ms. Johnson they’re people who think the way their group asks them to think

  33. If I brush my teeth more then twice a day my gums get sore. I try to be gentle too.

    1. And make sure you only use soft bristles, and use your fingers and wrists, not the full force of your biceps.

    2. I would totally recommend asking your dentist about that. They can better examine your teeth and gums to see what’s going on. Stay well!

  34. Literally two days ago just brought some more one a day Act mouthwash
